Introduction to Agricultural Practice (P3) or better known as homestay activities is a compulsory subject weighing 1 credit which is carried out by Agrotechnology Students, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung. The aim of this activity is to introduce real-life agriculture in the field for students of the Agrotechnology Department class of 2022, by living and studying with farmers in the village. The Provision were carried out for 2 days, Wednesday and Thursday 25 & 26 January 2023. This activity was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung, Prof. Dr. Ir. Irwan Sukri Banuwa, M.Sc., Head of the Agrotechnology Department Prof. Dr. Ir. Sri Yusnaini, M.Sc., Secretary of the Department Ir. Setyo Widagdo, M.Sc., Head of the Study Program Fitri Yelli, S.P., M.Sc., Ph.D., Head of the Department of Plant Protection, Head of the Department of Soil Science and Lecturer in the Department of Agrotechnology. The activity began with an opening by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and then he urged students to take advantage of the widest opportunity to gain insight into knowledge and experience from the locations and farmers they participated in.
This homestay activity will be held in Wonoharjo Village, Tanggamus Regency, Lampung Province for 7 days from January 28 to February 3 2023. The purpose of this activity is to provide and give an insight to a real-life of farmers with all aspects and activities.
